I don’t think this is the work of the Paintress, and it’s definitely something to celebrate. Following it’s previous milestone announce, the team at Sandfall Interactive and Publisher Kepler Interactive announce a new, and particularly apt update on sales. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hits 3.3million sold in 33 days.
Thirty-three days ago, we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Since then, we’ve sold 3.3 million copies.
Seriously. As of today.
We couldn’t make that up.
Another entry on the long list of surreal moments that your support has made real. Thank you ALL.
Tomorrow comes.🤝 pic.twitter.com/OclgkZAtgP
Writing via the official brand account on Social Media platform X, the team shared the news, saying “Thirty-three days ago, we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Since then, we’ve sold 3.3 million copies. Seriously. As of today. We couldn’t make that up. Another entry on the long list of surreal moments that your support has made real. Thank you ALL. Tomorrow comes.
Publisher Kepler Interactive are equally pleased with the news. In a Press release, they said “In just 33 days since release, Sandfall Interactive’s video game debut, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has proven itself as a critical, artistic and commercial phenomenon with fans around the world.“
Of note, that sales figure doesn’t include the potential millions of players playing via Xbox Game Pass – so all in all, it seems to have done very well indeed. Congrats to the developers!
We thoroughly enjoyed Clair Obscur Expedition 33, with our Reviews Editor Jesse saying, “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an inventive, beautiful experience like few others. Being the debut title from a studio and a new IP, it is an incredible achievement. Go in with as little knowledge of the story as possible. Whether you download this on Game Pass or plan to buy it, experience it. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be full of wonder and tears as you fight to stop the Paintress from ever painting death again. Tomorrow Comes.
