If you cast your mind back to mid-April this year, you may remember that 4A Games, developers of the acclaimed Metro series threw a little party as they celebrated 15 years of the franchise. As part of that celebration, they made copies of Metro 2033 free across Steam, GOG and Xbox. The only problem was, the Xbox version never seemed to actually work, and wasn’t redeemed by Xbox fans.

Good news – 4A Games were true to their word, and have fixed the issue and Metro 2033 is now free to redeem on Xbox Series X|S consoles. Just head to the Xbox store and add it to your account.
