This week, as part of Skulls 2025, developer Cyanide Studio and publisher Nacon announced Season 9 for their ongoing live service tactical blood sport ‘Blood Bowl 3’. Season 9 brings about the Khorne Faction, a band of brutal, relentless, and bloodthirsty scoundrels that’ll make the Orksies think a bit more beyond the ball before they make their move.
Available on 10 June, the new season will feature the blood bowl khorne team. In addition, for the duration of the Warhammer Skulls event, the game will be discounted on all platforms and players will be able to get an exclusive Coach for free in the in-game store.
Introducing the Khorne faction
As the name suggests, this faction is made up of worshippers of Khorne, the God of blood and slaughter. Khorne teams are characterized by their particularly brutal play style! Many of their players are equipped with the Frenzy skill, which leads them to bloody confrontations with opposing teams. Their motto reflects this philosophy: “Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows.”
An exclusive new Coach and discounts on all platforms
Until May 29, as part of the Warhammer Skulls event, players can visit the in-game store to obtain an exclusive Khorne Coach for free.
A 60% discount is also being offered on Blood Bowl 3 on all platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, and PC via Steam) until 29 May.
Blood Bowl 3 is a tactical turn-based fantasy football game adapted from the popular eponymous board game. Set in the Warhammer universe, this game offers a thrilling and brutal experience, where players get the chance to coach a team from one of the many available factions (Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs, etc.), customise them and climb up the rankings by taking on other players online.
