Jump Ship, a co-op, mission based FPS game where you crew a spaceship is bringing a demo as a part of Steam Next Fest, which kicks off in a couple of weeks, starting June 9th, 2025.
Keepsake Games just announced the demo as a part of Steam Next Fest, and they’re also sending out one more wave of beta keys, so be sure to check your emails if you’ve already signed up. Per the update on Steam, the demo will include:
- The opening tutorial segment,
- A few missions in the first map region
- A couple of ship components to unlock
- Basic player and ship customization
Per the developers, Keepsake Games, “All multiplayer functionality is available, so play together as up to 4 players (or solo!) You are free to replay the available missions as much as you want until we end the demo.“
Jump Ship will task players with working together to crew their own spaceship. Players will be able to “Transition seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. Engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space, and always keep your ship upgraded and intact. Teamwork is key for survival and victory.“
Personally, as a big fan of Sea of Thieves, Jump Ship has been one of my most anticipated releases in some time, and I can’t wait to go hands on with my pals to see just what it’s all about. The game is coming to Xbox and Game Preview, but it’s getting an Early Access debut on Steam before that, so this demo is just the start.
Keepsake Games are also opening applications for their Creator Program, and they state “If you try the game and feel that THIS IS THE BEST SPACE GAME OF ALL TIME 10/10 GOTY AND YOU NEED TO SHARE THIS WITH YOUR COMMUNITY AND MAKE CONTENT NOW!!”
