Against The Storm is on PC Game Pass already, but now Publisher Hooded Horse are making moves, bringing this Roguelite City Builder to Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Against The Storm is coming to Consoles this June!
The release date trailer (seen above) shares the news, with the game heading our way June 26th. Developers QLOC are working on the port, in cooperation with original developers Eremite Games.
Against The Storm is well regarded, with the game holding a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam over 28,000 reviews. It’s sold around 1.5 Million copies to date.

Per the press release, “A new wave of viceroys will get to experience this popular city builder, joining the efforts to rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. Players will lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization’s last survivors. The UI has been completely overhauled for consoles, ensuring that newcomers have a smooth experience while fulfilling their duty to the Scorched Queen.“
About Against The Storm

Per the game description – “You are the Viceroy – a leader charged by the Scorched Queen to reclaim the wilderness and discover lost riches for the Smoldering City, civilization’s last bastion against the Blightstorm that destroyed the old world. Unlike most survival city builders where your focus is on a single city, in Against the Storm you must build a vast, prosperous network of settlements populated by diverse fantasy races, each with their own specializations and needs.”

“The wilderness holds many hidden dangers, and never-ending storms will batter your population into submission. If your settlements should fall, then the expedition may end – but not the game. Against the Storm is a roguelite city builder, meaning you will carry forward the resources, upgrades, and experience of your past expeditions each time you set off for a new journey into the wild.“
It’s not entirely clear if the console version will also land into Xbox Game Pass on console specifically, but we shall wait and see!
Against the Storm is available on PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,980.”
