Snow Riders came out earlier this year, dropping straight in Xbox Game Pass. Today, it’s receieved a new update on both PC and Xbox making the game a whole 33% bigger! Let’s dive headfirst into the drift with the Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders Free Update!
Welcome Snow Riders, to Baifushan!
The developers have released a free update with an entirely new area to ski down, named Baifushan, which is based on and inspired by the beauty of China’s mountainscapes. It has four new trails, with two slopes on each and supports full multiplayer and leaderboard support, alongside a new batch of Xbox Achievements to snag!

With the Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders Free Update, there’s also a whole host of bug fixes and quality of life changes too, including new tour rewards for the racing mode, where players will get additional XP and snowflakes at the end of the tour, based on their total tour ranking.
I thoroughly enjoyed Lonely Mountains Snow Riders when I reviewed the game earlier this year, saying “The developers at Megagon Industries have done a great job on building on their first game by adding a bunch of excellent new ideas, a fun multiplayer suite and what feels like a great, fresh take on skiing with the tight, responsive controls they’re known for. It’s addictive, thrilling stuff and I can’t wait to hit the slopes as soon as I’ve finished writing this. It’s available on Xbox Game Pass and Steam, and I hope you try it out.“
We’ve copied the patch notes for the Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders Free Update for you below.
