Dropped ten days ago (yes, I know I’m late, I’m sorryyy), developer Brimstone and publisher Maximum Entertainment released Overthrown’s second major update across Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview. Dubbed the “Nature Update”, ‘Overthrown’ sees the addition of new workshops, enhanced lighting, a new weapon, and more! This is part one of the full nature update, by the way, so keep an eye out for more additions to this evolving cooperative survival title.

Maximum Entertainment announced the second major update to chaotic co-op city builder Overthrown, available now in Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview. Overthrown invites players to hurl anything and everything to the wide-open sky (from houses and trees to your very own citizens) to create the kingdom of your wildest dreams in a wild, fast-paced race to rule.
Since its Early Access launch, Overthrown has already received a major update earlier this year, introducing exciting additions such as firebombs, powder kegs, woolies, and extended seasons. Today’s ‘Nature Update’ continues to expand the game’s dynamic world with new tree species, environmental zones, citizens, abilities, and much more.
