The Fallout TV Show was a smash hit when it released last April, becoming one of the most successful video game to screen adaptations of all time. The show was viewed by over 100 million people as of October 2024 and Season 2 of the show was quickly confirmed after the success of Season 1.
The question is, when will the highly anticipated Season 2 actually release? While no official release date has been announced for Fallout Season 2, there are some clues that give us a good idea of when we should expect to see the Fallout show return.
On the road to New Vegas
Season 1 of the show began filming in July of 2022 thanks to actor Walton Goggins sharing an image of the first day on set on his Instagram page. The first season wrapped filming in February of 2023, meaning the first season took about 7 months to film. Season 2 of the show began filming in November of 2024, and a set of one of Season 2’s sets leaked earlier this month meaning production is still ongoing.
If we go by the beginning of filming of season 1 in July 2022 to the release of the show in April 2024, and considering season 2 began filming in November of last year, it would seem likely that Fallout season 2 will be released sometime in mid 2026. All of this is of course assuming production goes smoothly and there are no delays.
