Wolfenstein: The Old Blood ‘free with Amazon Prime for Xbox|PC

Amazon Prime’s latest batch of ‘free’ games, as long as you’re a prime member, includes Xbox and Microsoft PC store codes for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

If you visit Amazon Prime’s Gaming site you can get a number of ‘free’ games including:

  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood for Xbox & PC
  • Mortal Shell for PC
  • Mutazione for PC
  • Legacy of Kain: Defiance for PC
  • Figment 2: Creed Valley for PC

The only Xbox codes generally included with the service have been Bethesda titles, where you get an Xbox and PC store code each.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood was a prequel to the 2014 reboot of the franchise. The game’s Xbox store page describes it as:

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a standalone prequel to the critically acclaimed first-person action-adventure shooter, Wolfenstein: The New Order. The adventure, which spans eight chapters and two interconnected stories, features the hallmarks of MachineGames – thrilling action, immersive story and intense first-person combat. As war hero B.J. Blazkowicz, arm yourself with new weapons such as the bolt-action rifle and grenade-launching Kampfpistole as you attempt to thwart the advancing Nazi war machine, and take advantage of duel-wielding pipes that can be used for wall climbing – or for vicious take-downs of never-before-seen Nazi adversaries.

Having played through The Old Blood before it worked on this site, I remember loving it. A more action-focused, less-stealth overall title (in my memory), and the music in this one was top tier. Mick Gordon and others at their very best, carry this standalone prequel.
