In his latest video, eXtas1s claims that he’s heard that the long awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong should release no later than June 2025. As the game is set to release into Xbox Game Pass at launch this would be within the preview of the few leaks eXtas1s has gotten correct, lately.

As you can see, the above video from 2022 is when the game was last shown off, and set for a Game Pass launch.

The game describes itself as: “Ascend to the peak of a vast, haunted kingdom in Hollow Knight: Silksong! The sequel to the award-winning action-adventure, Hollow Knight. Explore, fight and survive as Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest, as she discovers a land ruled by silk and song.

It is the follow up to the original, Hollow Knight, which we reviewed:

For years I’ve heard from friends I trust that Hollow Knight is a great game. I had tried multiple times before but always bowed out after a few hours.  I’m happy that after finally getting through it all, they were right that the game, at least the latter half, is one of the most brilliant Metroidvanias ever. The issue for most though is just how long it takes before it hits those lofty heights.
