Developer Studio Fizbin and publisher Thunderful Publishing will be launching their action rogue-like ‘Reignbreaker’ on PC via Steam on the 18th of March. In addition, Norwegian band Djerv (“Get Jinxed”, “Rebel Heart”) has collaborated with the studio to release a new single dubbed “Reignbreaker”.
Reignbreaker is a high-octane action rogue-like set in a dystopian medievalpunk world. Step into the boots of Clef, a fearless rebel ready to rid the world of the Kingdom’s oppression, take down the Elite and lay siege to the Queen’s grand Bastion. Grab your javelin and become The Reignbreaker!

“Reignbreaker,” developed by German game studio Studio Fizbin, is a rebellious answer to rising authoritarianism. Players step into the role of Clef, a child soldier who has broken free from an oppressive regime to become an anarchist rebel. From deep within the gothic sprawl of the Queen’s domain, Clef must battle legions of high-tech medieval machines, loot the fortresses of the elite, and tear the system apart. Alexander Pieper, head of Studio Fizbin, describes why Djerv was the perfect band to create the track that would define the game:
“Music has always been a big part of my identity, ever since I played in punk bands in the 2000s. When designing ‘Reignbreaker,’ we wanted it to feel like playing through an album like ‘Battle of Los Angeles’ by Rage Against the Machine– raw, rebellious, and full of energy. Punk isn’t just about identity or graffiti; music is the core. Djerv was the perfect band to create a title track that captures that spirit. When we heard their work on League of Legends and Arcane, we knew they were the right choice, and they totally nailed it!”
