Rumor | Is Starfield finally coming in to land on PS5?

Update 16:59 GMT: It looks like the Logo has now been removed, as per the screenshot below:

Original article continues below.

Back in February of 2024, we reported that Microsoft and Bethesda were planning to bring Bethesda’s latest space spanning RPG, Starfield on PS5 at some point post the release of the then announced expansion, Shattered Space.

We also detailed elements of Microsoft’s general plan to bring more 1st party games to rival platforms, including Hi-Fi Rush, in addition to the more public announcement – the infamous “business update” which all happened.

Shattered Space has since been released, and earlier last week, Bethesda teased some big things for Starfield coming this year. A release for Starfield on PS5 hasn’t happened, at least – not yet.

That may be soon about to change. Spotted by eXtas1s on social media platform X (Formerly Twitter), it appears that PlayStation Logos have reportedly started to appear within Starfield’s ‘Creation Club’.

STARFIELD is reportedly preparing to land on PLAYSTATION 5“, says eXtas1s (per the translation of the Tweet above). He continues – “Playstation logos have been added to a Creation Club creation. It appears to be beta testers, as the logo only appears on one creation.

Starfield is long overdue an update. Now, a PS5 logo has been spotted in the creation club for the game. Is Starfield coming to PS5 at last?

Right now, it appears to only appear on one particular creation, and arguably could just be an error. We’ll reach out and ask, and see what we hear back.

Is 2025 the year Starfield finally releases on PlayStation 5? I feel we won’t have long to find out.

We thoroughly enjoyed Starfield on release, with our Reviews Editor Jesse pouring hundreds of hours into the game, saying “Starfield is a new beginning. Not only for Bethesda but for Xbox as a whole. With excellent writing, stunning graphics, and thrilling gameplay it makes the galaxy yours to explore, shape, and live in. It is a wonderous tapestry to experience your story in a way that only the best have done before.
