Mods come to your kingdom
Warhorse Studios is calling today’s version 1.2 update the “culmination of five months of hard work”. It brings with it “a bevy of “over 1,000 fixes and improvements, spanning gameplay balance, NPC behavior, environmental improvements, and equipment adjustments.“
A full deep dive on the update will air on March 20th, 2025. You can find the full patch notes at the games official website. This update alwaso focuses on community issues, specifically localization ones for the titles Chinese translations as well as improvements for the font used in the Korean language version. There is a French VO on offer now as well.
We reviewed the title back at launch, stating:
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a direct sequel to the first game. And I don’t say that lightly. The game quite literally takes place almost instantly after its predecessor and while the game does spend a little time going over past events, for the most part, it assumes you’re familiar with the main character, his motivations, and his story thus far.
…the game starts off with you accompanying Hans Capon as a bodyguard (and a friend) to deliver a message to Trotsky. Why? Because you’re caught up in some deeply political matters concerning a missing King, his brother, invaders from other areas and more. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s story can get more than a little confusing with the many, many players involved, their motivations, etc. But you’re given more than enough tools and information to really dive into it all if you want to. And if you don’t (as I didn’t really), then that’s okay too because the core of this game isn’t about the big bombastic stories anyway.
