REPO is taking the streaming world by storm and fans want to know, is it coming to consoles?
R.E.P.O.
R.E.P.O. released on steam into early-access on February 26th, 2025. It describes itself as:
“An online co-op horror game with up to 6 players. Locate valuable, fully physics-based objects and handle them with care as you retrieve and extract to satisfy your creator’s desires.“
The game succeeds due to a mix of cartoonish graphics, physics-based gameplay, and excellent V.O.I.P. VOIP is voice-over-internet-protocol. In the game, through the use of microphones, you sound like you are in the environment instead of on a phone call.
As your co-op partners move into different rooms or interact with objects,the voices can change.It adds an extra layer onto the game outside of the quest for finding more loot to pay the tax man. This should work on consoles, as most gaming headsets have a microphone attached to them.
As of the time of this reporting it is only available on Steam. Their previous game, titled Voidigo, hit early access in 2021. It graduated to full release in 2023 but to this day is still not on any console.
So, to answer the question of is R.E.P.O. on or coming to consoles, No, and history would say there is no guarantee it ever will be.
