Some good news for fans of Silent Hill, as publisher Konami is hosting a dedicated livestream focused on the franchise later this week. Known as ‘Silent Hill Transmission’, Konami teases that this will ‘uncover Silent Hill f.’

In a tweet shared of social media platform X (Formerly Twitter), Konami posted the following:
Silent Hill Transmission
“Join us for the SILENT HILL Transmission, where we’ll share the latest news streaming March 13 at 3:00pm PDT. This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f. We will share the stream link soon, so please watch this space.“
If you’re unsure exactly what Silent Hill f actually is, you’ll be pleased to know it’s going to be a new mainline game in the franchise, and was announced back in 2022. According to Konami, the game “will be a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan featuring a beautiful, yet horrifying world. Written by Ryūkishi07, famed for Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological and supernatural horror.“
Silent Hill 2‘s remake, developed by Bloober Team did very well, passing a million sales in under a week. No sign of it on Xbox yet, but we have hopes Konami will bring it across eventually.
Cronos: The New Dawn

In the mean time, Bloober Team are working on a new original sci-fi horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn. Revealed back during an Xbox live stream last year, it looks pretty cool!
Per the developers, Cronos: The New Dawn is a “third-person survival horror set across two distinct time periods, Cronos: The New Dawn introduced itself with an enticingly strange trailer involving a game of chess, a very big spacesuit, and some horrifying creatures.“
The Silent Hill Transmission will be going out across the internet on Thursday March 13th at 1500hrs PST / 1800hrs EST / 2200hrs GMT. Will Silent Hill f be coming to Xbox? That remains to be seen.
