The board game Labyrinth is an all-time classic, first published by Ravensburger and Max J. Kobbert back in 1986. Since then, it’s been re-themed with over twenty different intellectual properties, from Disney tie-ins to Pokémon. Now, it’s time for Minecraft Labyrinth – while this version of the game has been available in the UK and Europe for a while, it’s now getting a release in North America and Canada.

Board Game publisher Ravensburger have revealed that since it’s original release, Labyrinth has sold almost 30 million copies worldwide, eventually being inducted into the Origins Games Convention Hall of Fame in 2024.
Equipped with your pickaxe, players will embark on an adventurous search for items, animals and mobs that hide in the maze. The game will shift the maze cards to open new paths and close others as you play.
Per Ravensburger, “Wander the maze, create new paths and explore new worlds in Minecraft Labyrinth. Guide your character through the shifting maze and gather mobs, blocks and other items in this thematic version of Ravensburger’s award-winning, classic moving maze game. Labyrinth, has inspired shared moments at the game table for almost 40 years.”
Minecraft Labyrinth is suitable for ages 7+ and will retail for $29.99 MSRP. It’ll be available August 2025 in North America and Canada, though you can get a copy on Amazon UK today if you’re interested in taking a look.
