Developer Dexai Arts and publisher Crunching Koalas will be launching their up-and-coming adventure title ‘Techno Banter’ on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles on the 30th of January and begs the question: are you a bad enough dood to keep the party going?
You’re the bouncer of the Green Door club, where every decision matters. Reject the unworthy of partying with clever retorts, explore a neon-lit city, and immerse yourself in the Berlin-like city’s underground techno scene. Players take on the role of Nill, a local bouncer – with wit as their weapon, players will choose from a variety of clever comebacks to keep the club’s vibe intact.
Besides meeting the weird cast of potential club guests, each night will also provide an opportunity to earn some cash needed to pursue Nill’s long-term goals (e.g. taking revenge on a former boss), improve his questionable quality of life or help his friends by completing the oddest of sidequests.

Players take on the role of a bouncer at the notorious Green Door club, navigating a colorful array of characters. With wit as their weapon, they’ll choose from a variety of clever comebacks to keep the club’s vibe intact, making each night a unique experience.
Techno Banter’s developers Dexai Arts are true Berliners, which can clearly be felt in the inspiration the game takes from the wonderful and weird underbelly of the techno capital of the world. Having spread long roots in the Berlin DJ scene, they’ve brought many local DJs on board to spin tracks inside the game’s main club Green Door.
The game has already gathered some attention, winning the GameStar.de “Find Your Next Game” Indie award, the Reboot Develop Blue Special Selection award, and being featured in this year’s Guerilla Collective’s Official Selection.
