‘Ninja Gaiden 4’ Announced—Coming to PC, Xbox Series, PS5 in Fall 2025

Gaiden Returns

Surprise! Today during the Xbox Developer_Direct a brand-new outing in the Ninja Gaiden franchise was revealed. Ninja Gaiden 4 is being developed by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja and is coming to PC via Steam, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass in Fall of 2025.

In this new iteration you play as a new protagonist Yakumo, a hero from Raven clan. Ryu Hayubusa does return, playing a pivotal role in the story. The story takes place in Tokyo, and the Dark Dragon still lives, causing constant rainfall. It’s looking great, and we’re very excited to play.

Ninja Gaiden has long been associated the Xbox brand, dating all the way back to the release of the original reboot on the OG Xbox back in 2004. The action-adventure game was developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo. Set in a futuristic 21st century and in the same universe as their Dead or Alive series, players step into the shoes of Ryu Hayabusa, Master Ninja and head of the Hayabusa Ninja Clan, wielder of the legendary Dragon Sword.

More details as they come in. Are you looking forward to Ninja Gaiden 4?
