Sega Corporation has announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on PC (Steam) will launch on January 28, 2025. To celebrate the return of the iconic brawler, starting today through December 17, SEGA is hosting an open beta as part of the game’s network playtest.
For fighters who are preparing to get into the ring, pre-orders are available now on the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Steam Store page. Pre-order bonuses will include a set of three SEGA hardware customization items, as well as the “30th Anniversary Edition,” which includes downloadable content and a setting documentation collection/soundtrack. Furthermore, for a limited time, each edition of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is discounted 20% off on Steam from today until February 2, 2025.
Based on Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown™, VF 5 R.E.V.O gives players an optimized gaming experience in their quest to become the world’s best combat aficionado. Global tournament “Virtua Fighter Open Championship”: Spring 2025
Virtua Fighter Open Championship, a global tournament using the Steam version of R.E.V.O., will be held. The event is scheduled to be held in the spring of 2025. In addition, the winners of the regional qualifiers will face off at the “Grand Final Tournament” to determine the world’s strongest Virtua Fighter competitor. More information will be revealed soon.
