
Today, developer Team Salvato and publisher Serenity Forge have announced that their psychological horror visual novel ‘Doki Doki Literature Club’ has been played by 30 million players across all platforms and including both the original 2017 release and the enhanced 2021 Plus edition. To celebrate, a commemorative illustration has been released alongside the announcement along with the following message from the publisher’s founder and CEO Zhenghua Yang:
“Doki Doki Literature Club Plus’ reception has continued to astound us since 2021, and we’re so thankful to the game’s loyal community for sticking with us all these years. Reaching 30 million players is incredible, and we can’t wait to show the community what we have in store next.”
