This week, publisher Selecta Play and developers Team Ladybug and WSS Playground revealed that the 5-Year Anniversary Limited Collector’s and Physical Editions of Touhou Luna Nights will be available on the 21st of March 2025.
Alongside this news, the teams are excited to unveil a special look at these editions in a new trailer that highlights the physical Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 boxes for the game, alongside additional pack-ins like an exclusive game manual and more. After more than five years since the game’s release back in 2018, captivating Metroidvania Touhou Luna Nights, developed with permission from Touhou Project, has sold more than half a million copies, garnering more than 12,000 “extremely positive” reviews on Steam. To celebrate this exciting milestone, Selecta Play has revealed a physical 5-Year Anniversary Limited Edition of the game that includes all kinds of exclusive goodies like a 5-Year Anniversary Collector’s Box, a physical version of the game on either Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, a new game manual, a steel book, a double CD edition of the original soundtrack, three alternate box art inlays, and a serialized certificate of authenticity.
