Developers Compulsion Games have released a new documentary focusing on Xbox Exclusive ‘South of Midnight‘.
‘Weaving Hazel’s Journey” is a new documentary is available now on the Xbox Youtube channel, and over the course of thirty minutes dives into the various inspirations for the new game from Complusion.
Per Xbox, “Weaving Hazel’s Journey explores the development and world-building behind South of Midnight. In addition to a first look at new gameplay, this documentary features exclusive commentary from the team and talent who shaped South of Midnight’s captivating music, art, gameplay, and narrative.“
They also revealed ‘The Art & Music of South of Midnight‘, which is a box set featuring a meticulously designed art book, soundtrack vinyl, comic book, and more. This new box set, ‘developed in collaboration with Dutch design house and publisher Cook and Becker‘ is available to pre-order now for those interested.
It’s worth noting, this box set does not include an actual copy of the game.
There’s a tonne of excellent looking new footage, from expansive looks at new areas, in addition to many of the monsters and creatures we’ll either help – or do battle with.
The game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025, or gamers can play it day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC.
