Dungeons of Hinterberg gets New Game + Update

The lovely Dungeons of Hinterberg just got a brand new update, bring a whole host of requested features including New Game + to this excellent action RPG adventure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game when I reviewed it earlier this year. In my review, I said that Dungeons of Hinterberg was “An incredible, nigh-on herculean effort from a very small team, developers Microbird Games have made something very special in Dungeons of Hinterberg.

In my 20 or so hours exploring, I found a successful medley of genres with enjoyable combat and a variety of gameplay mechanics resulting in something uniquely memorable.

New Game +

Per developers Microbird, the main goal in mind when providing New Game + in Dungeons of Hinterberg is to “provide players an enhanced second playthrough. You can play through the game from the start, while keeping your last playthrough’s inventory, player stats, and most of the perks that you received from relationship level-ups! In addition, you can choose to either keep your past relationships or reset them and build them again from scratch.

They’ve also added 4 new attack conduits to play with, from speed and damage boosts, a downpour of water projectiles and even some eyes from the void shooting lasers all around you.

Earlier this year, the team added some outfits via a new store in the town of Hinterberg. Now there are even more to choose from and unlock, so get slaying.
