Following a successful stint in Early Access on PC, Starship Troopers: Extermination is out today on Xbox Series console and PlayStation 5, as well as the 1.0 release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. There’s a lovely new launch trailer to watch to celebrate, seen below.
We’ve already played a little bit in Early Access in an episode of XboxEra Hangouts and had a pretty good time, but we’ll be jumping in to the console version on Xbox this week to bring you our review as soon we can.
It’s a 16 player co-operative shooter, with six playable classes as you look to build defenses and survive waves of bugs, You can also create your own company (Roughnecks!) and work with other players across the global war front to advance humanity’s interests.
