Can your PC handle Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024? Sign up and find out

Test those skies!

Announced yesterday via flightsimulator.com, Microsoft are running a technical Alpha later this month, designed to gather feedback on all the new network-related stuff that comprises Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Be warned, you’ll need a pretty capable rig if you’re looking to take part. The PC system requirements are demanding to say the least, with recommended specs asking for at least 32Gb of RAM.

Space is limited, so act fast if you’re looking to try it out. Be aware though, this isn’t a run at the full game. The actual scope of the test in terms of content will be limited, as the focus is on services only.

If you’re interested in taking part, you can head over and sign-up for the technical alpha now on the Microsoft Flight Simulator website via the Insider Sign-up survey here. Thankfully, at least hard-drive space won’t be as much of a problem now, with the initial install being a modest 30~Gb, with assets streamed in via the cloud.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is scheduled to release November 19th on PC and Xbox Series X|S, and you can look for our review closer to launch.
