Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming, and this bombastic global launch trailer certainly makes a solid case as to why you should be paying attention.
It’s a hefty package, with a full campaign, the usual extensive multiplayer suite and of course, the always amusing Zombies mode. We’ll be bringing you coverage on all three of these modes once we’ve got the game in our hands.
Per the main Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 website: “While the Gulf War commands the global spotlight, a shadowy clandestine force has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA, branding anyone who resists as traitors. Exiled from their agency and country that once hailed them as heroes, Black Ops veteran Frank Woods and his team find themselves hunted by the military machine that created them.“
Besides the campaign, which promises plenty of the usual blockbuster set pieces, and round-based Zombie mode. The multiplayer has 16 maps at launch. This is “including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.” It also sees the much heralded return of the traditional ‘Prestige’ System.
There’s no early access to the campaign this time around, but you can preorder the ‘Vault Edition’ which chucks all sorts of digital goodies at you, as seen below.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases October 25th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
Oh, and it’s coming straight to Game Pass for Ultimate and PC Subscribers.
