Starfield: Shattered Space download size revealed *updated

Starfield: Shattered Space is coming on Monday, September 30th 2024. Here is The Starfield Shattered Space download size on Xbox consoles.

*Update: Shattered Space is now live and is an 18.44gb download for a patch along with a 8.7gb download for Shattered Space itself, on both Xbox and the Microsoft PC Store

The pre-load is 14.9gb total in size on Xbox consoles. As of the time of writing, it is not available on the Microsoft Store version for PC as a pre-load and downloading it on Xbox gives you a 10mb placeholder. This is the first expansion for last year’s title, taking place on a new planet, Va’Ruun’kai, home to House Va’Ruun. The DLC describes itself as:

A mysterious power stirs in the city of Dazra on House Va’Ruun’s hidden homeworld. We loved the often maligned title, giving it a 9.7 at launch and stating:
