Tanuki: Pon’s Summer revealed for Xbox

BMX-Riding Racoon delivers Mail

Announced during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show 2024 broadcast (you can watch us react here), say hello to the only BMX-riding Racoon we know – Pon! Tanuki: Pon’s Summer is a brand new game from development team at Denkiworks and published by Critical Reflex.

It’s coming to Xbox Consoles, Windows PC and Steam as per the Xbox Wire Blog post.

Per the team: “Step into the furry paws of Pon and BMX in style as a part-time mailman in a picturesque Japanese town, delivering packages, pulling off tricks, and helping locals with quests.

The game will have you BMX your way around four small and unique Japanese towns, delivering packages and mail to the inhabitants, undertake quests and win over the hearts and minds of the general population.

The goal is to save up enough money to repair the local Tanuki shrine in time for a festival of celebration.

As well as delivering mail, you’ll be able to pull off all sorts of tricks on your BMX, from grinding on rails, and cool flips. There are also a ton of mini-games too, from Baseball, Sumo wrestling, bird-watching and making some delicious sushi.

Tanuki: Pon’s Summer is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
