Developer tox^2 interactive and publisher Aerosoft this week announced that their upcoming truck simulation title ‘Heavy Cargo – The Truck Simulator’ will be headed to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles on the 9th of October.
You’ll be responsible for transporting some seriously heavy cargo through a large, fully explorable open-world—and this time, you’ll even need to be responsible for ensuring the missions are completed as safely as possible. In Heavy Cargo – The Truck Simulator, players are tasked with transporting oversized loads through a vast, freely explorable, and vibrant game world, though it offers much more than bringing cargo from A to B. Whilst you’ll be trucking with incredibly powerful engines, capable of moving the heaviest of loads, before the journey begins, players will often need to scout their route with a spotting vehicle, assessing potential obstacles and preparing the path to ensure their cargo reaches its destination safely.
This means players are responsible for everything from planning and preparation to executing the mission, which may involve dismantling guardrails, adjusting road signs, determining bridge heights, and even using cranes to lay ground plates for safe passage.
