In a day of rumors Resetera poster Natedrake has stated that Final Fantasy 16 is coming to Xbox
In a post on the infamous forum poster NateDrake has stated that Final Fantasy XVI is coming to Xbox, it’s just a matter of when Square Enix, the game’s publisher, announces it. “FF16 on Xbox is going to happen. Just waiting for Square to announce it.” The game released on June 22nd, 2023 to critical acclaim, describing itself as:

As for Final Fantasy XVI, it’s a great action adventure game but a disappointing Final Fantasy RPG game. I enjoyed it, rated it an 8.5/10 and still have to play both expansions. Combat/gameplay isn’t difficult or challenging at all but the story, characters, world, music and immersion makes up for it. Not saying the combat/gameplay is bad because it isn’t (I rated that category a 7.0/10 which is good on my rating scale), it’s just that the other three aspects I rate games in (graphics, audio and story) is simply a lot better. Or at least for me since I loved Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

I liked this game better than rebirth. It felt more like god of war than Ragnarok did
I definitely want to try and form my own opinion on it. I held off because well, I didn’t like exclusive BS and by the time FFXIV was announced for Xbox with Phil and CEO of Square message, the chance to arrive went up. Curious on the presentation and what not, despite still wish it was back to old gameplay days or at least be more RPG oriented but I digress.
Maybe GC? But TGS sounds more likely, but Xbox still hasn’t confirmed their presence there. But maybe SE can still go ahead and announce it anyway.

IIRC Xbox announced their TGS Showcase early September last year. Wouldn’t be a surprise if it’s the same for this year.
