Dead By Daylight crossplay and buy is coming and the developers have just shared all the details.

Dead By Daylight is the jank-filled, fan-loved 4v1 pvp title that features tons of IP crossover. The developers have put out a blog post explaining how to enable cross progression in the title as well as what does and doesn’t carry over.
“Cross-Progression is coming to Dead by Daylight, and we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about the anticipated feature.
Set to go live on July 22nd, Cross-Progression allows players to sync their Dead by Daylight progress across all available platforms (with select exceptions).
HOW TO SET UP CROSS PROGRESSION
- Create or log into your Behaviour Account.
- Enable cross progression.
- Select your platforms and link your platform account.
- Sync your game progress.
You can see the process in action by watching this quick set-up video below:
Please note that some content will not be available on certain platforms, so please refer to the graph below for specifics.”
Every platform except for the Nintendo Switch will share Progression, Inventory, Currency, and DLC. The Switch will not share Currency or DLC though “*but players can share from other platforms to Switch.” they further explain that:
“Cross-Progression for the Nintendo Switch will function slightly differently than across other platforms in the following ways: Purchased DLC can be shared from other Platforms to the Nintendo Switch, but players cannot share from the Switch to other Platforms. Purchased Auric Cells are not able to be shared”
