
DualShockers has put out an article claiming that Creative Assembly is working on a Total War: Star Wars title

Three new Total War games from the studio Creative Assembly are rumored to be in production via a new exclusive report by DualShockers. These titles are one set in the Star Wars universe, while the other two are not described in the article. Total War has been a nearly yearly franchise, only missing a release in 2021 during the pandemic.
Total War Warhammer III launched directly into Game Pass on PC in February of 2022:
The third game in the series of the highly acclaimed Total War Warhammer series is launching on Xbox Game Pass day and date. This means players can join in on the fun of Creative Assembly’s & Sega’s Warhammer grand strategy game when it launches on February 17, 2022.
In Total War: Warhammer III players will enjoy the biggest Total War: Warhammer game ever. In the past five years, Creative Assembly and Games Workshop have been building this franchise to great acclaim, and the third game will be the conclusion of the series.

Same as 40k, I just don’t see how this works. What are the factions? How do sub factions work? Is Leia going to declare war on Luke? The lines of battle are just so simple in the current disney cannon, It’s hard to see how this works unless they use a lot of legends content
I found out the original source of these rumours was a random TW centre poster, so it’s best to take them with a large grain of salt. (The poster in question claimed that the Warhammer TW games were all financial failures lol)
