New Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II blog post on Xbox Wire delves into Senua’s humanity

As gamers wait in anticipation for the gorgeous looking Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the team over at Xbox Wire have shared a new article detailing some of the behind the scenes at developer Ninja Theory, as it strives to create a true leap forward in gaming immersion using the power of Unreal Engine 5.

As per Xbox Wire: “In the run up to launch, we’ll be bringing you the story of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II from inside the studio itself, as well as stories and lessons from Hellblade’s creative leads. This is Ninja Theory’s ultimate form, filled with industry-leading talent, groundbreaking technology, and one of the most unique approaches to game development you’ve ever seen to fulfil the ultimate goal – the pursuit of true immersion. 

This particular piece is focused on the general evolution of Senua’s character, following her experiences in the first title, the excellent Senua’s Sacrifice: Hellblade. If you haven’t played the first game yet, you absolutely should, and there’s good news!

First, it’s available on Xbox Game Pass, and two, it’s a concise experience, and you should be able to get through that tale just in time for the launch of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II on May 21st.

The developers have also teased an extensive photo mode for the game, and we’re pretty sure folks will be taking some incredible images come next week.
