The CTA has never looked this clean.

Developer KishMish Games and publisher Ultimate Games has announced that their public transport simulator ‘Metro Simulator 2’ is now available on Xbox consoles for $19.99 USD ($15.99 as of this writing).

Previously available on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, metro enthusiasts and fans of games that simulate public transport can now experience a realistic and relaxing simulator with faithful reproductions of metro and train control mechanics. Metro Simulator 2 will launch on PlayStation consoles in the coming months.

Per the press release:

Metro Simulator 2 is a title developed by KishMish Games, a studio known for its acclaimed Bus World and Fly Corp games, among others. The simulator was first released on PC in June 2023 and on Nintendo Switch in February this year. Polish company Ultimate Games S.A. is responsible for the development and release of the Xbox One version. Thanks to backward compatibility, the title will also work on Xbox Series X|S.

The new simulator is a unique game with the metro at its center. Metro Simulator 2 not only faithfully reproduces the characteristics of the subway, but also the mechanics of controlling the trains.

In this game from the KishMish Games studio, the player becomes a train driver on the metro. This game offers a free play mode and varied scenarios with fixed timetables and specific conditions and situations. The simulator features a total of 2 trains with different control systems. The metro itself includes up to 24 stations and a variety of tunnels and facilities.

In Metro Simulator 2, the developers have included an advanced, real-world based speed control system to prevent potential collisions and other undesirable events. Speedometers and traffic lights also play an important role in the gameplay.

Metro Simulator 2 – main features:

  • a realistic subway simulator;
  • faithfully reproduced train controls;
  • relaxing gameplay;
  • metro with 24 stations;
  • 2 different trains.

The simulator will also hit PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the coming months. Check out the trailer and screenshots below for more details.
