Dragon’s Dogma 2 pre-load is live on Xbox. File size is confirmed.

The pre-load for Dragon’s Dogma 2 has just gone live on Xbox Series consoles. The game is releasing on March 22nd, 2024. Positive reviews hit various gaming sites and YouTube channels last week, praising the game’s emergent gameplay. Concerns about performance on PS5 were remarked upon by many, though.

The game will be 69.94 GB on Xbox Series consoles at launch, barring any pre-launch or day one patches.

The Xbox store page describes it as:

Set forth on your grand adventure, Arisen! Dragon’s Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG series that challenges the players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more.

Now, in this long-awaited sequel, the deep, explorable fantasy world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 awaits. On your journey, you’ll be joined by Pawns, mysterious otherworldly beings, in an adventure so unique you will feel as if accompanied by other players while on your own adventure.

All of these elements are elevated further through physics technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the latest in graphics, to create a truly immersive fantasy world in Dragon’s Dogma 2. *Ray tracing is not supported on Xbox Series S.

Discussion:

  1. Damn, basically 70GB. Will try this out later this year and hopefully by then, Capcom will add a 60FPS option.
