Li Mei, Tanya, Baraka, and DLC Characters Shown at ‘Mortal Kombat 1’ SDCC Panel

The protectors of Outworld's royalty are here. And some guests.

Shown at yesterday’s ‘Mortal Kombat 1’ San Diego Comic Con panel, developer Netherrealm Studios showed off the last round of characters coming to the game’s roster: Li Mei, Tanya, and Baraka. Alongside these familiar faces comes six playable characters that will arrive in the game’s post-launch ‘Kombat Pack’ DLC: Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda Takahashi, along with guest fighters Peacemaker, Omni-Man, and Homelander.

Have a gander at the reveal trailers below. Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to launch the 19th of September, and pre-orders will receive Shang Tsung as a playable character as well as having beta access come August.

  1. Im on a MK blackout till it comes out.

When MK11 was coming I watched everything about it including all the Kombatcasts, and when the game came out I felt like I had seen everything it had to offer.

Im a big Mortal Kombat junkie, so I want to go into this one as fresh as possible. With that said, I am okay with knowing who is on the roster. Happy to see Baraka back.
