Bethesda has officially confirmed today that Tango Gameworks founder Shinji Mikami will be leaving the studio “in the coming months.” No explanation was immediately given for his departure but the statement wished him well.
The departure of Shinji Mikami from Tango Gameworks is a bit of a surprise considering the recent successful release of Hi-Fi Rush, but without official word from Mikami himself as of this writing it is hard to draw any conclusions.
