VR on Xbox isn’t happening anytime soon

With the arrival of a new console people expect new features and sometimes gimmicks. But it seems virtual reality isn’t coming to Xbox Series X at launch, or even shortly thereafter.

In an interview with Gamertag Radio, Spencer has said the following regarding virtual reality:

“My main point was, I wanted to be clear with our customers on where our focus was. So that if somebody was waiting for us to bring out a VR headset for Series X, at the launch or something – we’re not going to do that.”

“I don’t hope it goes away – I hope it gets bigger. I hope it’s something that’s so important that it would be a no-brainer for us to go and support it.”

So, if you were expecting virtual reality support on Xbox Series X this fall, you’ll have to wait a little longer till VR is unavoidable.
