E3 2022 both Digital & Physical Has Been Cancelled

After the previous announcement that a physical event for E3 2022 would not be happening. The ESA has now informed partners that there will be no digital version of the show this year either. This means the entirety of E3 2022 is completely cancelled.

The news was first heard from Will Powers who is PR lead for Razer. He confirmed via Twitter that he had received an email officially stating that E3 digital was cancelled for 2022. The ESA had initially planned to have a physical showing this year after the absence of 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19. In January however, a physical E3 for this year was canned. After a digital event in 2021, it was thought a similar occurrence would happen this year, but this now isn’t to be.
