Dr. Dre is working on ‘Great F–ing Music’ for Grand Theft Auto according to Snoop Dogg

Reported first by Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg talked about what Dr. Dre has been up too since the last studio album Compton released in 2015. In the interview which he did as part of an upcoming spot on the Rolling Stone Music Now Podcast, Snoop talks about what he’s been up to lately, his interactions with the heavyweights of HipHop and Rap and dropped a juicy nugget on where Rockstar could be sourcing some music for their heavily anticipated title: Grand Theft Auto 6

“I do know he’s in the studio,” Snoop says in the episode, which will air October 29th on SiriusXM’s Volume channel (106) and will be available as a podcast on November 3rd. “I do know he’s making great fucking music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.”

A representative for Rockstar Games, the company behind Grand Theft Auto, declined comment, and the company has not announced a new entry in the series yet. reps for Dr. Dre didn’t respond to requests for comment according to the Rolling Stone.

Grand Theft Auto is known for its rich and diverse music radio stations which are carefully chosen to set tonal pieces for the time periods they represent.

Leaks and rumours abound for Grand Theft Auto 6 which is understood to be the next big thing Rockstar games are working on. As of now, most remain uncorroborated.
