Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac Games joins Sony Worldwide Studios

Developers of games like Spider-Man, Sunset Overdrive and Ratchet & Clank Insomniac Games has been acquired by Sony.

The studio is known for their PlayStation games. But this generation, the studio in California made one Xbox exclusive in Sunset Overdrive. The studio was founded in 1994 and had been independent for 25 years. Now Ted Price and his team will be joining Sony. Today Sony has also revealed Spider-Man has sold 13.2 million copies to date.

It seems the Sunset Overdrive 2 dream is over.
