Microsoft, Activision, and the CMA have asked the UK Tribunal to pause litigation

Breaking news, after the FTC lost their preliminary injunction against the ABK/MSFT acquisition, it is reported that MSFT, ABK, and the CMA have requested that the Competition Appeal Tribunal pause litigation. The CMA is now open to working on remedies for the acquisition after being staunchly opposed.

“In order to be able to prioritise work on these proposals, Microsoft and Activision have agreed with the CMA that a stay of litigation in the UK would be in the public interest and all parties have made a joint submission to the Competition Appeal Tribunal to this effect.”
