Almost two years to the day when the world suddenly ground to a half as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We saw businesses closed, people working from home and those all-important gaming conventions completely cancelled. The organisers of the biggest gaming event in Europe have announced that it will return as a physical event as well as digital this summer. From August 24th to 28th Gamescom returns to Cologne. This is fantastic news both for gaming fans but also the industry as a whole to get the wheels turning again.
