Ubisoft has launched a new sale on the Xbox Store, but instead of discounting the prices of the titles, they are doing a first for the Xbox Store by offering a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal and leaving the games at their full MSRP. As noted by @_XboxNews, this seems to be a first for the store. Perhaps Ubisoft are testing the waters to see if people prefer this type of sale instead of buying their games at a massive discount only a month or two after launch?
In all seriousness, this new approach to sales for a digital storefront is great as it helps the storefront become a more appealing option for players compared to going to a physical retailer. I’ll still be hugging my physical copies however.
