Exploded Beauty
Those of you who watch the XboxEra Podcast might recall that the fantastic Taylor Nixes from IGN made me aware of a cool website called Grid Frame Studio which specialises in creating awesome art consisting of framed “exploded” devices like iPhones and Game Boys.
I absolutely fell in love with the framed Sega Game Gear and purchased one the moment I saw it and it currently sits lovingly on the wall of my gaming room.
At the time the Game Gear was sold out so I reached out to them via their socials and organised to purchase one upon restock. But as a follow up, the kind folks at Grid Frame Studio also offered to send me their – at the time, yet to be released/revealed Xbox Controller which just recently arrived for me to get my grubby (but not really grubby, very clean) hands on.
So I did a little unboxing video which I hope gives people an idea of how well Grid Frame Studio does their thing.
