The Gamepass releases for January are stacked according to a leaked list from Xbox wire

Earlier today eagle-eyed Redditors and website technclub.com found an early release of the art assets on Xbox wire (you can view this here ) and it shows a list of absolute bangers to round out January and pick up steam for game pass into February.

the new list of games includes:

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition (Cloud & Xbox & PC) – Now Available on XGP
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction (Cloud & Xbox & PC) – from January 20

Safe to say that combined with all of Januarys releases the total month of January looks like this:

  1. Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  2. Olija (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  3. The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  4. Embr (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  5. Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Console and PC)
  6. Outer Wilds (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  7. Spelunky 2 (Console and PC)
  8. The Anacrusis (Game Preview) (Console and PC)

This may be legitimately Xbox’s strongest 3rd party partner month for game pass and comes hot off the heels of a strong Q4 2020 for Xbox 1st party which included the sublime GOTY racer Forza Horizon 5 and the return to form of the arena shooter king in Halo: Infinite.
