Bethesda celebrates 25th anniversary of Fallout with freebies on Prime Gaming and Game Pass

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since the original Fallout released on PC, and the folks at Bethesda are celebrating by giving away some goodies. Depending on which service you use will determine what you’ll get, which I’ve gone ahead and simplified below from their blog post. There is more that will be given away during the month of October, so be sure to keep an eye out on the official Bethesda Games twitter for when those drop!

Now, Prime Gaming is offering the base game of Fallout 76 for the PC via the Windows Store. You’ve got until November 1st to claim this if you haven’t already.

Over on the Game Pass side, you get a free month of their monthly subscription service Fallout 1st. You’ve got until October 24th to claim it via Game Pass Perks. A very important thing to note is that if you’ve already claimed a free month of Fallout 1st in the past, you cannot claim this perk.

Fallout Shelter is also getting a brand new update full of content which will have a new quest line, weapons, enemies and more. We should be hearing more about this new update in the coming months.

Last but not least, Fallout 76 is on a free play week across all platforms from October 4th-11th, so be sure to grab a friend or two and explore the wasteland with your friends if you haven’t already.
