Annapurna Interactive Showcase turns into a Game Pass one. Solar Ash, Thirsty Suitors, Maquette, and more coming to Xbox.

It was a GamePassAThon

Annapurna Interactive just held a 25-minute-long showcase in which multiple new and older games were announced as coming into Xbox with most of them joining Game Pass when they launch as well.

First up was Thirsty Suitors, a turned-based narrative RPG from developer Outerloop Games. The description of the title is: Can Jala learn to love herself and heal the wounds of her past? Thirsty Suitors is a stylish, story-driven adventure that unfolds through turn-based battles, skateboarding, and cooking.” It has no current release window and will be available on Xbox, Playstation, Switch, and PC while launching directly into Game Pass.

Next up for Xbox fans was Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem, a third-person Mech action game that is releasing on Xbox, Playstation, and PC in 2023 with a day one launch into Game Pass.

The Pathless, previously exclusive to Playstation is coming to Switch and Xbox this winter. The game was reviewed well at launch, described by Luke Kemp of PCGamer as “A smooth and mesmerizing experience that includes nothing it doesn’t need.”. The game describes itself as “From the creators of ABZÛ, The Pathless is the mythic adventure of an archer and an eagle in a vast forest. Become the Hunter, a master of archery who travels to a mystical island to dispel a curse of darkness that grips the world.”

Maquette was shown next and it is launching day one into Game Pass on Xbox as well as releasing on Switch. This is another previously console exclusive for Playstation. The game describes itself as: “Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge.”

Next up is one that got me very excited. Solar Ash is hitting PC and Xbox this Winter with a release on day one into Game Pass. From the creators of the incredible Hyper Light Drifter, this too was previously a Playstation exclusive title that reviewed well at launch. Solar Ash’s devs describe it as:

Set amidst a surreal dreamscape filled with long-abandoned ruins of great civilizations past, you play as Rei, a Voidrunner determined to stop at nothing to save her planet from falling prey to the Ultravoid’s path of eternal hunger.

Fight through mobs of grotesque creatures, grind rails with sheer delight, grapple to wild heights, take down enormous bosses, and surf the ashen clouds of shattered, bygone worlds swallowed by the void.

“In this highly stylized action adventure unlike no other, will Rei persevere and make her way through the deadly encounters of this ravenous void in order to save her home? Will she learn the truth about these massive beasts that roam this strange land and uncover the mysteries of the Starseed and Echo?”

Finally for Xbox we had Flock, a cooperative multiplayer game featuring cute characters and a lot of flying. It is listed as “coming soon” to Xbox, Playstation, and PC and is launching day one into Game Pass.

That’s it for new releases or ports. You can find the entire showcase embedded below for your convenience.
