Announced via Xbox’s YouTube page, Nexon-developed KartRider: Drift will launch on Xbox consoles early March, nearly three years after its initial closed beta on the platform. A free-to-play kart racing game that is played all over South Korea, KartRider: Drift is essentially a remake of the original Asia-only KartRider (whose beta came and went in the west). Drift is cross-platform, cross-region, and cross-save across PC and mobile where it is currently available for download. The games ‘first’ season pass will launch alongside this Xbox version. A ‘pre-season’ pass is currently available for the aforementioned platforms.
I had positive thoughts on the closed beta and am currently enjoying the full release quite a bit. It is casual enough for anyone to pick up but offers a tough to master drifting system. More information on the game can be found on the official website and below. Wishlist it on Xbox here.
