Xbox Insiders will have an opportunity to partake in a closed beta of the upcoming title Evil Dead: The Game this weekend. The test starts on March 25th 2022 at 10 AM PT.
Step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and PVP multiplayer action! Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series. Details on how to join in with the test can be found below.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Sign-in on your Xbox console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
- Navigate to Previews > Evil Dead: The Game – BETA.
- Select Join.
- Wait for the registration to complete to secure your spot for the Closed Beta!
NOTE: Evil Dead: The Game – BETA begins on March 25th at 10 AM PT. Joining now secures your spot for the playtest. Return to the Xbox Insider Hub on March 25th and select Show in Store to begin installing the game. You’ll also receive an Xbox Insider notification when the playtest begins.

Start: March 25th, 10:00 AM PT (5:00 PM GMT)

- Hold down the home button on your Xbox One controller.
